This GIS data layer contains the location of all full trash capture compliant devices (or systems) managed by or within a Permittee’s jurisdiction. This may include devices within a Permittee’s boundary that are not managed by the Permittee (i.e. private, county, state, and federal agencies). Types of devices may include public and private connector pipe screens (CPS), basket type devices, hydrodynamic separators (HDS or CDS), Gross Solid Removal Devices (GSRD), and Netting devices. These devices should have corresponding treatment areas in the Full Capture Polygon GIS data layer. Additional points in this GIS data layer may include partial capture devices, removed devices, planned devices, and non-functioning devices. Devices that are not installed or are not functioning properly should be noted as such.
<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>This GIS layer contains the location of Full Trash Capture Systems for all Permittees that are participants of the Santa Clara Valley Urban Runoff Pollution Prevention Program (SCVURPPP).</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN>In order for a device to be included in statistics calculations, the following attributes must be filled out to denote the device is working properly as full trash capture: Status = “Installed”, Overlapped = “No”, and Trash_Eff= “Full”. </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>

The quality of this data varies depending on the source, and the location and status of the device may be incorrect. Many device locations have been field verified while others have not. EOA Inc. or Program Staff do not take responsibility for any errors in the data or any analysis that may result.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>

This will often happen when a large device such as a HDS or GSRD is installed and the catchment includes smaller devices such as CPS or LID. The Permittee may want to still display the point on a map, and if this is the case, the even if the device is overlapped, the value should remain “No”. This is the default for overlapped points. Areas marked “yes” for overlap will not be included in calculations in order to avoid double-counting of treatment areas.
