<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This GIS layer contains the Trash Generation Rates </SPAN><SPAN>for all Permittees that are participants of the Santa Clara Valley Urban Runoff Pollution Prevention Program (SCVURPPP).The trash generation rates based on the 2009 baseline are listed in the attribute Final_Cat. The trash rate categories are A: Low, B: Moderate, C: High, D: Very High.</SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>The City’s 2009 baseline trash generation map was reevaluated in FY 21-22 to ensure that jurisdictional areas draining to the City’s MS4 are included on the map and that these areas were assigned the appropriate trash generation category when the original baseline map was created. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
This GIS data layer contains most of the information for mapping and developing trash related statistics, including Land Use, Area, Trash Rates, Jurisdictionality, Primary TMA, and Secondary TMA. This layer was developed for each Permittee to prepare for the Short Term Trash Plans that were submitted to the Water Board in February of 2012, and again edited for the Long Term Plan.

“yes” if the agency in the City attribute has jurisdiction over the trash originating from this polygon. To map the appropriate generation color for Non-Jurisdictional land uses, the Final Gen Category was appended to “no, A” through "no, D" to contain information on both the jurisdictionality and the trash rate of the polygon. It should be noted that because of the way this data layer was developed, polygons extend to the center of the street, and so non-jurisdictional polygons often include portions of adjacent streets that should be jurisdictional. This may need to be corrected to more accurately display the correct area that is non-jurisdictional.
